Dancer and Choreographer

I started dancing at the age of 6, all the students in the class had to learn kraut folk dance. I did this for 6 years and we had many rehearsals with my mates. I was introduced to hip-hop when I was 10, I started to dance at Power Dance Team, where I was taught old school hip-hop.

I passed 5 years in the team as the leading dancer. The best team was in 2000 probably, but even though we came up with the best dance routine for a dance contest by far, we went home empty-handed, with nothing but honours. I competed solo only once in a hungarian championship (organized by MDSSZ) and I reached the 5th place from 36 contestants. I had danced only 3 months before that. I haven't competed since then on any other contest since I've had lots of bad experience.

I had about 200 rehearsals in 5 years in many places. I left PDT in 2002, when I got a lead role in the italian-hungarian film „Pal street boys". In the following year I got another role in the movie „Fateless", and then my acting career ended.

After the shootings I decided to take a visit in every single hip-hop dance school in Budapest. I had to stop dancing for a while because of my terribly broken ankle.

In September I returned to the PDT as a teacher and choreographer. I'm learning at a college working on my diploma anyway.

I had some nice experiences in London, where I took many classes in the Pineapple Dance Studios from Anthony King, Emmanuel, or some of the instructors of the famous Dance XS. I took part in Hip Hop Days in Budapest where I learned from Lil Phil from the Who got skillz? team, the belgian Aurel Fleo, Miha Krusic or the aerobic-legend Alex Fabbri. I also took classes in the last years by the best hungarian moderndance-teachers, and I had the pleasure to learn from one of my favourite dancers, Alex Bullón.

If I wanted to describe my dancing style, I would say that my moves contain a bit from everything: smooth hiphop, basically; some electric boogie, poppin'; the creativity and rhythm of new style, not to mention the bestial dynamics of krump. I use lots of moves from Michael Jackson whom I hold in high esteem and consider the unique idol of mine. I haven't created anything unique, no new styles, as every hungarian dance teacher „does" – if someone comes to my class, they won't run out screaming from the thing I do under the name „hiphop"; but will be surprised by the good feeling and the extremely cool music I use which has nothing to do with U got served, and other recently popular dancefilms.

Dance is not the only thing in my life, actually – I love playing football (and I used to edit the site of the hungarian fan club of FCB previously), I'm interested in architecture, I love learning and speaking languages. I'm keen on filmculture, I can watch good films for days. I love spanish culture. I'm into everything crazy, I'm never tired to go out and one can count on me always when needed.
